IEEE Technology and Society Magazine has been recognized for editorial excellence with numerous awards. Most recently, in 2005, T&S Magazine won three "Awards of Excellence" from the Society for Technical Communication (STC), one for the overall publication, and two more recognizing the excellence of individual articles.
Members of IEEE-SSIT receive T&S Magazine as a benefit of membership. Both engineers and non-engineers are eligible to subscribe (click here for more information on how to subscribe). The Editor of IEEE Technology and Society Magazine is Prof. Joseph R. Herkert of North Carolina State University.
